Roller chain sizes are established by four principal dimensions: pitch, within width in the roller hyperlink, roller diameter, and plate thickness. Pitch, the distance in inches between centers of adjacent ?exing joints, forms the proportional basis for your remaining dimensions. Chain dimension 
is designated by the pitch dimension, and chain length is expressed regarding pitch, or in feet and inches.
