Method of Belt Tensioning
one. Calculate the deflection distance in mm on the basis of 16mm per meter of span. Center distance(m) x 16=Defection(mm).
2. Use a spring balance and rule measure the force with the belt, if the value falls inside of the values given, the drive must be satisfactory. Othewise, make use of the Torque arm’s turnbuckle modify the stress with the belt. (Note, the force route along with the belt need to be a ideal angle).
