1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for basic application is pre-coated with grease with the pins. Prior to connection, verify the grease within the surfaces of pins, and if your quantity of grease is tiny, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are made use of, the grease will be absorbed through the gloves.)
Instance: When the connecting link (I) of an O-ring chain for common application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted in the roots of the pins. Should the O-rings come loose due to vibration through transport, refit the O-rings in towards the roots of your pins.
In this case, make sure to return the grease collected in the roots from the pins on the central surfaces from the pins, additional at portion A than at portions B proven inside the above illustration. (Portions A is worn on account of sliding using the bushings.)
2.The chain might be most quickly connected within the teeth of a sprocket. Engage the back links at each ends with the chain with the sprocket teeth and fit connecting pins. Should the sprocket may be moved, the chain can also be connected about the loosened side.
3. Connecting process
1.Verify that O-rings are connected to your roots in the pins.
two.Should the volume of grease applied around the connecting pins is tiny, coat the pins with grease with the central portions.
three.Insert the connecting pins into the bushings from the inner links at the two ends.
4.Confirm the grease is applied to the total face on the O-ring, and match the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
five.Insert the connecting pins to the connecting plate and although pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Confirm whether the head (the end without a split) on the spring clip is turned while in the feeding route on the chain. (See the next illustration.)
6.Be sure to verify that the spring clip is securely fitted while in the clip grooves of your connecting pins.
This completes jointing in the connecting hyperlink. Note that grease over the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings can be removed through installation function. In this instance, re-grease using the grease on the surface on the base chain or the grease while in the polyethylene bag by which the connecting hyperlink was contained.
